How I Work
My Approach to Therapy
An Integrative and Trauma-Informed Approach to Therapy
I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, recognizing that emotional well-being is shaped by many interconnected factors, including our nervous system, past experiences, and relationships.
Rather than focusing only on changing thoughts or managing symptoms, therapy often involves slowing down and developing a deeper understanding of the patterns that have shaped your experiences.
As these patterns become more understood, many people begin to experience less overwhelm, greater clarity, and a more stable relationship with their emotions.
Our work together is collaborative and guided by your pace, experiences, and goals.
Therapeutic Approaches
My work integrates several therapeutic approaches, including:
• Somatic therapy and mind–body awareness
• Nervous system–informed therapy
• Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work
• Trauma-informed psychotherapy
• Compassion-focused and integrative therapy
These approaches allow us to explore your experiences from multiple perspectives while honoring your unique pace and needs.
A Nervous System Perspective
A nervous system–informed perspective helps us understand how patterns of stress, safety, and emotional response develop over time.
Rather than viewing these responses as problems to fix, we begin to understand how they were learned — and how they can shift with greater awareness.
Over time, many people experience greater ease, stability, and a deeper sense of trust in themselves.
